May 21, 2012-The Fresno County Law Library and Central California Legal Services Launch Conservatorship Clinic in Fresno
The Conservatorship Clinic devoted to prepare participants with the Conservatorship process will hold its first monthly clinic at 2115 Kern Street, Suite 1, in downtown Fresno on May 24. The clinic will begin promptly at 8:30am. People in need of assistance may come to the office during those hours.
Founded by Central California Legal Services (CCLS) and The Fresno County Public Law Library, the clinic will provide information about the legal requirements and procedures to obtain a conservatorship, provide free legal advice to clients from a pro bono attorney, and present information by a licensed professional fiduciary.
The Clinic will help people interested in obtaining a legal conservatorship for low-income seniors who cannot care for themselves.

October 5, 2011-WestlawNext Now Available at the Library
The next generation of legal searching, WestlawNext, is now available at the Fresno County Law Library. The new interface features a simplified search function that makes it easier than ever to find legal references in the Westlaw system. WestlawNext searching also features a new algorithm that searches across all types of resources, including cases, statutes and secondary materials, to find the best results for your search. We now feature online access to many forms commonly used in certain court cases; increased information about the library and our policies; and more links to legal resources in the area, including access to the Nolo Legal Database, a database of self-help books directed at the general public.
